French Connection Berrie Frill Dress

CLOTHES: french connection dress, size 2
JEWELRY: lagos necklace & pendant, nordstrom bracelet, banana republic rings
ACCESSORIES: j. crew purse, tory burch flats

This dress was a final sale purchase from French Connection about a month back. Since I am Italian and love cooking, the pattern of this dress was irresistible...it reminded me of olive oil. There was no size 0 in store, but I gave the 2 a shot and it fit me fine. Although no longer available online, it might still be at your local store.

I hope everyone enjoys their weekends! Every workday this week has felt like it should have been Friday, so I am ready to enjoy the night!! :)

    1. Thanks, Ping! It faded back to blonde...which I was told would happen, so no surprise. I am not ready to go back to dark hair color, so anything light is good with me! I am considering doing something funky over the summer like a colorful bottom layer. Whatever my hairdresser thinks is best. :)

  9. Beautiful, Michelle! The print looks very vintage-inspired and even better that it reminds you of olive branches/oil. Maybe you can share some favorite recipes on here sometime? I'm always looking for new Italian dishes to try and didn't know you loved to cook.

  10. I've been close to buying FC dresses in the past, but wasn't sure of the sizing. Thanks for your review because now I know sz 0 won't work. Love this dress on you!

    1. Thanks, Cee! French Connection is worth checking out in person. I do not go to the store too much because they do not have good enough sales to lure me in. I just happened to be in a "I want to try a different store" mood the day I found this dress. :)

    1. Yep...the color faded to a caramel blonde! I want to try to add a funky accent color for summer...so at my next hair appointment my girl and I are going to discuss. :) We'll see if I have the guts!

  13. I love the dress, its beautiful on you! I really wanted to get a similar dress too, there is a similar one, similar style at Aritzia, but I'm not willing to cough up the money to buy it right now in my poor student situation right now. This style can work in the classroom during the day, slip on some heels at night and you're ready for a night on the town!

Also..I almost..almost went to Vegas on the weekend of the 20th (when you posted this outfit!) plans didn't work out, maybe next time! Will keep you posted! ;)

    1. I am so jealous that you have Aritzia! I went once to the Bellevue, Washington location...but that was years ago.

Yes! Definitely let me know if you are in town! :)

  14. That dress is adorable and looks so great on you! I noticed that French Connection runs pretty small. I was in LV a few weekends ago for a wedding and thought of you...wish I had time to hang out! =P
